A massive stone lamp, in the shape of a round building. Most probably it resembled the base of the Dome of the Rock Mosque (“Golden Dome”) in the Temple-Mount in Jerusalem, built around 700 AD at the order of the Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik. The building was initially completed in 692 CE. Late 7th-Early 8th century AD. Early Islamic period.
